Andrea Bocelli


Never was I interested in classical music or opera, until the recent Andrea Bocelli's concert brought to us by YTL Corporation.

It was beautiful, an eye-opener indeed. No doubt it was a formal event, however it was still a very pleasant surprise that everyone arrived in their best attire (and behaviour). Ladies looked gorgeous in their gowns, gentlemen were charming in full suit. Living in Singapore, the last thing you want to do is to head out in a tuxedo under the scorching sun and ultra-humid weather! But for one of the best tenor in the world, elegant ladies do not mind stepping their Louboutins into soggy soil or having runny-makeup. Gentlemen do not mind soaking their newly bought tux in smelly perspiration.


There were a few moments.. a few notes he sang, a few memory flashes that almost brought me to tears..

Some good friends made the concert an even more memorable one. He was joined by special guests Australian pop singer Delta Goodrem, Slovenian soprano Sabina Cvilak and acclaimed flutist Andrea Griminelli.
